We welcome you to come and celebrate
this important next step in your life together
As with any wedding, there are certain words that have to be spoken, questions that have to be asked and declarations that have to be made, but that won’t stop us doing our best to tailor the service to what you want for your special day.
If you are thinking about getting married at Holy Trinity, the first thing to do is to make an appointment to come and see one of the clergy to sort out the legalities and share the information needed for the Banns of Marriage to be published. It’s also a chance for us to get a feel of what you want from the service and you to get an idea of what a wedding at Holy Trinity would be like. To arrange an appointment, please talk to a member of the Ministry team.
Some people worry, for all sorts of reasons, that they might not be allowed to get married in church. We will always try to say yes to a wedding request. We are delighted to offer a specially tailored service to those who choose to have a civil ceremony before coming to church.
There is much more information about getting married in church on the CofE Weddings website Your Church Wedding.
