Weekly Services

We have two regular services each week

Sunday at 10am
and
Wednesday at 10am

Sunday at 10 am

This is our main service of the week. It is usually a service of Holy Communion, but once a month we have our Come Together service.

Holy Communion services at Holy Trinity have a friendly formality and all are welcome to receive bread and wine. There is a real sense of joy and fun in our worship of God and in our fellowship with each other. Music is in a traditional style, even if some of the hymns we sing are modern, and is led by Robert our organist.

Children are always welcome. They can stay with you in the service, or join one of our children’s / young people’s groups

  • Diddy Disciples (pre-school)
  • Sunday School (5-10)
  • Ascenders (11-14)

There are also soft play areas for the very young.

The service is followed by coffee and biscuits where you can meet and chat with clergy or members of the congregation.

Wednesday at 10 am

On Wednesdays, we meet in the Lady Chapel for a traditional service of Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer. This is a much smaller and quieter service than on a Sunday, but no less cheerful.
It is again followed by coffee and biscuits.

Children at Holy Trinity

Children are a vital part of our congregation and our wider community. Children of all ages are welcomed to Holy Trinity on Sunday mornings, and we are actively engaged with local nursery, primary and secondary schools.

Sunday Morning:

Children are always welcome to stay in the main service and we have areas for soft play for the very young. On some Sundays the older children take an active part in the prayers and readings in the main service, but in addition, we have three led groups
